Why a Small School?

Small School Advantages–Great Partnerships!

You might be hesitant to send your child to a small school like St. John’s, but there are many advantages to having your child receive an education in a small Christian school. First and foremost, St. John’s teaches all subjects in the light of God’s Word. God’s love for students is emphasized, and children are encouraged to let their love for Jesus shine in all they do!

Small schools offer numerous other advantages. To learn about the blessings of a small school, check out this article: Benefits of Small Schools: Why Choosing a Small School Makes Sense.

Even though St. John’s is small, the school has partnerships that provide students with opportunities available to students in larger schools. For example, St. John’s partners with St. Peter Lutheran School in Weyauwega to provide opportunities to play on sports teams.

In addition, St. John’s School is part of the FVL Federation of Schools. Being part of the FVL Federation offers our school extra opportunities, such as being able to participate in FVL-sponsored field trips and contests, go to a FVL theatrical production during the school day, and offer students the opportunity to participate in the FVL Schools band!

Testimonials

“Choosing St. John’s School to educate and guide our children’s path and journey to Jesus was and is the best decision we ever made. Not only are our girls getting valuable instruction, they are being raised in a Christian, family focused learning environment.”
